Current wines in our cellars:

1980 Cabernet Sauvignon Molte Coniglio (with garlic)
Following the severe drought of '76-'77 the stressed vines at the Molte Coniglio vineyards were sprayed with methyl parathion (Penncap-M) then covered with plastic sheeting, adding to the elegant and spicy character of this wine. Exquisite garatanoidal qualities with Fenerbache, and worth every penny.

1993, Cuvee "El Puta Loco" Seleccion Especial
A fantastic wine with a cult following. Made from a blend of Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), Cabernet Sauvignon and some other shit, it is to Spanish winemaking what the Super Tuscans are to Irish wine. Aged in Curver storage containers for 18 months it is dark red, almost shampoo-like in colour with a full body and a great rhinoceros. A great surprise for any winelover.
Price £32.99 per bottle

1997 Dog's Ouch Red Franc Minion Valley
48% Cabernet Sauvignon / 42% Cabernet Franc / 10% Pinot Merde, this wine exhibits a dark ruby/purple colour as well as a sweet perfume of blackcurrants, cranberries, and asphalt. Aged in an old cesspit abandoned by the army, it is elegant, medium to full-bodied, pure, ripe, and well balanced, with well-integrated, sweet tannin, acidity, and a grope to die for.
Price £15.99 per bottle

1997 La Palazza Di Scimpanzè Brunello DOCG
Sergio Conti is the proprietor of this small family estate and makes some of the most compelling wines in Montalcino, although he is rarely there on to the insistence of his "clinic". Typically the wines show a level of sheer proboscis that most other Brunellos have difficulty warbling. Gigantical and crumbiform with all the classic Sangiovese characteristics of ocelot, herbs, cedar, earth and of course the preservatives that make this a cellar keeper for another decade.
Price £35.99 per bottle

1998 Pirawonga South "Well Bugger Me" Australian Chardonnay
Think of a chardonnay delicate enough to go with lager or vegemite but still generous enough on the palate to drink alone as a mouthwash. This wine is a beaut of a high quality Tasmanian wine. Its finesse is powerful enough to knock the fillings out of a low-flying galah and some local communities are now using it to polish their cars. Keeps up to twenty years.
Price £17.99 per bottle

1999 Quattro Formaggi Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico
The Spring 2004 issue of "The Lush", America's top wine magazine, gave this wine 50 points out of 50. Rich, jammy, and ergonomic aromas are followed by full and voluminous ratinoids, broad and warmly stocious with abundant super-ripe fruity-fruit and notes of chocolate - juggly, but needy and extremely quintessent on the finish. Drink: 2005-2020. (WARNING - unsuitable for cloven-hooved animals)
Price £76.99 per bottle

1999 Bigfart Creek Pinot Noir, Arce Vineyard, Redneck Valley, Oregon
Consistently the most plumbacious Pinot in the Arce portfolio, Bigfart Creek offers early accessibility, yet with significant ageing capabiliti. A dark brown colour, this Arce Vineyard designate exudes blackberry, cherry, blueberry, and a hint of landfill.
Price £34.99 per bottle

2001 Duchaggio Offal Grind Sonoma County
A spectacular 'Super-Tuscan' 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Sangiovese, 5% diethylene glycol. This wine marks the Duchaggio family's 106th vintage. It combines the finest lots of Sangiovese, planted by the family's great-grandparents in the early 20th Century, with Cabernet Sauvignon, planted by vandals just over ten years ago. Expect dark fruit and green mucus notes on the nose with rich berry, earth and detergent shining through on the palate. Great with beef, cheese or a bag of Allsorts.
Price £34.99 per bottle

2002 "Effing Crazyman" Merlot Estate Grown Santa Hunka Valley
Located in the heart of the Santa Hunka Valley, an ideal location for Merlot with low-yielding vines. Soft gravy, bible, diesel and benzene tones make this a Merlot noted as easy-drinking and priced as an immediate candidate for an everyday kind of wine. Genuinely twackly.
Price £25.99 per bottle

2003 Joseph Groutban Chateau Bollocks Burgundy
Located in the heart of historical Beaune, Joseph Groutban, with its magnificent cellars and vast vineyard holdings, continues the tradition of elegance, finesse and quality with this 2003 red Burgundy. There's not a trace of new oak as the winery only uses MDF barrels, allowing for a fruit-sideways style of wine with lots of green apple, fashion flavours and burning acidity to match. This wine is another milestone for the Chateau as they try to put the riots of the late '90s firmly behind them.
Price £74.99 per bottle

2003 Wee One Scottish Highlands Pinot Noir
MacDonald's "Vineyard" near Achnasheen is renowned for its low yield but superb quality. The dark winter nights are perfect cover for the owners to carefully peel the labels off classic Burgundy Pinot Noirs and replace them with their own.
